Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March 1958, to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant and Joseph William Stone 2nd, who was a former tool and die worker as well as a factory worker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone began second grade in kindergarten at the age of five. She graduated from Saegertown High School, located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone take home Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated with her aunt from New Jersey, where she pursued a career in modeling. A month later, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. Stone soon moved to Europe and spent a full year with her aunt in Milan in Italy and Paris. But, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion within Europe she decided to take up acting in Europe while she was there. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories", which was a film with mixed reviews aged 20.
