Aura Garrido is an Spanish actor who is active in film and TV. She was a part of Stockholm along with TV shows like El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido is a Madrid native, born in 1989. The father of her Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and her mother, Pilar Sanchez, works as an artist. When she took her first piano class at age four when she was four, she began learning ballet. She speaks English due to her english-speaking friend as a child. After finishing her high school studies her, she attended the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico located in Madrid. She studied interpreter for three years, specialising in textual translation. She left the school in 2010 when she got an acting role in Planes para manana. The role won she the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress as well as a Goya Awards nomination in the most outstanding breakthrough actress category in addition to other nominations.
